I am writing to give thanks for the dream

February 9th, 2010

Dear Honored Lama Tenzin Phuntsok Rinpoche, or to whom it may concern:

My name is Elana Golden, I am writing from Los Angeles, California.

Immediately after watching the documentary “Unmistaken Child” (about the search for the incarnation of Geshe Lama Konchog) — I had a dream in my sleep that I am carrying the boy Tenzin Phuntsok Rinpoche in my arms, as we are walking down the outdoors steps of (what I think is) the public library in New York. As I was carrying the boy in my arms he trusted me fully, it was the most natural thing in the world. I was so happy to be have him in my arms. I asked him “How old are you?” and he said: “Nine.” When I woke up I was in an expanded state filled with Grace and love, and every time I remember the dream or share it with close friends, this expansion and magic continues.

I am writing to give thanks for the dream.

For the past 25 years I have been a student of Siddha Yoga meditation – a path to experiencing the Self – originating in India. My spiritual teacher is Gurumayi Chidvilasanada. It is a wonderful path. At the same time, having had this dream, I am pulled to go to a center that honors/ practices the teachings and energy of Tenzin Phuntsok Rinpoche – to further offer my gratitude and to stay in his energy field.

I believe in the power of dreams and live my life according and in allignment to them. This dream is important and meaningful to me. I feel that it calls me forth to to “carry” the teachings of this lineage in my heart and in my work in the world as a writer, screenwriter, film director, writing teacher, peacemaker and healer.

I would appreciate it if you can please relay this dream to Tenzin Phuntsok Rinpoche.

I would also like to find a center in Los Angeles or in the Southern California region to go to. I tried on the internet but did not find any in the this location. Can you please advise me on that?

I also want to ask if there is anything I can “do”, or a way to “be”, to honor this dream?

With all my love, with gratitude and awe at the ways of Spirit, and with great blessings for Tenzin Phuntsok Rinpoche and for you all.
